Men's Training: Fixing the Common Gaps
August 3, 2026 · 5 min read

If you have trained a while and progress stalled, the gap is usually structural.
Match pushing with pulling. For every pressing set, do a pulling set. Shoulder health and posture both depend on it.
Stop skipping lower body. Legs are the largest muscle group and the biggest driver of overall strength.
Reduce junk volume. Twenty-five sets of chest a week is not more effective than fifteen hard ones. Intensity over accumulation.
Add mobility work you will actually do. Five minutes of hips and thoracic spine before lifting beats a thirty-minute routine you skip.
Sleep is the missing supplement. Seven to nine hours changes performance more than anything you can buy.
